ANGLING

The warm waters of the Lagoon attract some very strange fish to this area. The main “pan” fish is the White Stumpnose. From August to May they are really plentiful and most young anglers can experience the thrill of catching their first fish by catching a Stumpnose. They are also excellent eating. The second most common fish are Elf. They take quite a bit more effort to catch but the reward is definitely worth it as they are a good sport fish and excellent eating. Other fish that are regularly caught are Kob, Yellowtail and Geelbek.
